| The Angling for a Cure Fun Run has been held around the Maribyrnong River Circuit for the past 3 years with strong support of the Anglers Tavern. The recent change of ownership at the Anglers Tavern had left us concerned as to the ongoing viability of this Fun Run. We are very pleased to announce that following discussions with the current managers of the Anglers Tavern we have received a commitment for support for the Fun Run in 2008 . The 4th Angling for a Cure Fun Run will be held around the Maribyrnong River on Sunday April 20th. The previous format of a 4km and 8km course available for both runners and walkers will continue with some possible minor changes to the longer course depending on council permits. Planning is will underway and registration will be available on the Trust website from early February. We encourage everybody to enrol as early as possible. Last year a RECORD number of 830 registrants completed the course and we look forward to an even bigger successful day this year. Dust off your training shoes and join us on this wonderful fun run!
